Newport has long been associated with the enthusiatic embrace of international polo.

The Newport International Polo Series takes place every Saturday in June, July and August at 5 PM and in September at 4 PM. Games are played on the polo fields at Glen Farm, located only minutes from the Carnegie Abbey Club, on Route 138 in Portsmouth.
