"Carnegie Abbey is a tremendous blend of old and new, brought together masterfully by Donald Steel, totally unique to New England but it feels like it has been there forever. You will want to come back."

Railway
521 Yards - Par 5

Longer players may prefer to lay up on this opening par five, which is divided by a wetland. Drives are better played to the right rather than the left off the tee as this opens up a better angle to the green. The two fairway bunkers are set on the right edge of the fairway and help to show the way.

The green is without bunkers and is a gentle start to the course, although the back pin positions may be a little difficult to reach.
